Standing Together for Anti-Bullying Week 2025

Using Our Power for Good

At Future Pathways, we believe every young person deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued. Bullying in any form can have a lasting impact on a child’s confidence, emotional wellbeing, and ability to engage with learning. That’s why we’re proud to stand with this year’s Anti-Bullying Week campaign, “Power for Good.”

This national week is a reminder that every one of us, staff, parents, carers, and young people, holds the power to make a difference. Small actions, words of kindness, and positive role modelling can create real change.

Why Anti-Bullying Week Matters

For many of the young people we support at Future Pathways, past experiences of bullying or exclusion have contributed to their disengagement from education. Some have faced social and emotional challenges, while others with Autism or Special Educational Needs (SEN) have struggled to feel understood or accepted in mainstream settings.

These experiences can leave deep emotional marks, but they can also be transformed into opportunities for growth, healing, and empowerment when young people are surrounded by care and understanding.

Our mission has always been to re-engage young people through positive relationships, sport, and tailored learning experiences. By building trust, confidence, and self-esteem, we help them rediscover their voice and their value.

Creating Safe and Supportive Environments

At Future Pathways, we work hard to create environments where kindness and respect are at the heart of everything we do. Our team takes the time to get to know each young person, understanding their story, their triggers, and what makes them feel safe.

Through one-to-one mentoring, group activities, and confidence-building sessions, we teach empathy, teamwork, and resilience. We encourage students to talk about their experiences, to stand up for themselves and others, and to know that they are never alone.

We also model positive relationships every day. The way we speak to one another, celebrate achievements, and support emotional needs shows young people what genuine respect looks like in action.

Using Our Power for Good

The theme “Power for Good” couldn’t be more fitting. It’s a message we live out daily, helping young people use their strengths, voices, and potential in positive ways.

Power isn’t about control; it’s about kindness, influence, and making choices that lift others up. We see this in our students when they encourage their peers, show compassion during group work, or simply include someone who’s feeling left out.

Every act of kindness matters. Every supportive word makes a difference. And every young person deserves the chance to feel empowered rather than isolated.

Together, We Can Make a Difference

Anti-Bullying Week is more than a campaign, it’s a call to action. Whether you’re a teacher, parent, or student, you can play a part in creating a culture of respect.

At Future Pathways, we’ll continue to stand beside young people, showing them that they are valued, capable, and cared for. Together, we’ll keep building a community where kindness wins and bullying has no place.

💚 Together. Engage. Enjoy. Motivate. 💚
