Future Pathways is proud to begin an exciting new chapter in Sunderland as we move into the Lambton Street Youth and Community Hub. This new base strengthens our ability to provide personalised, relationship-led support for young people who need a different approach to education and wellbeing.

The hub offers a modern, welcoming environment designed to help young people feel safe, supported and ready to engage. Having access to dedicated spaces for activities, learning, mentoring and collaboration allows us to deliver our provision in a way that reflects the needs of each individual. The setting itself plays an important role in the journey forward. A positive environment helps young people feel valued and respected, creating the conditions where trust can grow and progress can begin.

At Future Pathways, education remains central to everything we do. Our Sunderland provision offers tailored support that combines learning with mentoring, activities and wellbeing development. By taking time to understand each young person’s experiences, strengths and aspirations, we create pathways that support meaningful engagement and achievable progress. This approach recognises that confidence and connection often come before academic success, and that sustainable outcomes are built through relationships and consistency.
The new facility allows us to support young people in ways that feel purposeful and relevant to them. Through structured activities and supportive learning experiences, young people can rebuild confidence, develop social skills and re-engage with education at a pace that feels manageable. Each interaction is an opportunity to encourage growth, independence and a renewed sense of possibility.

Being part of the Lambton Street Youth and Community Hub also strengthens our connection with the wider community. Working alongside local partners allows us to provide joined-up support for young people and families, ensuring that each individual receives understanding, guidance and encouragement from a network that shares the same commitment to positive futures.
This move represents more than a change of location. It represents an investment in young people across Sunderland, providing an environment where they can feel supported, develop confidence and move forward with purpose.
